Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- A first degree in, preferably Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Training towards an accounting qualification/certification such as ACCA is highly desired.
- Big Accounting firm experience is a plus but not required
- Must have worked at least five (5) years in an accounting or finance role
- Must be experienced in the use of ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics
- Experience working in a service, manufacturing, or industrial company is a requirement.
- Language skills in French and English are highly desired.
- A high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
Essential duties and responsibilities
- Responsible for analyzing financial data to identify our company’s financial status.
- Prepare budget/financial reports and conduct cost and benchmarking analyses.
- Manage the general accounting functions as a custodian of the company’s accounting system.
- Responsible for month-end closing and all bookkeeping activities.
- Partner with other associates in the team on general ledger accounting functions.
- Perform financial analysis and modeling that provide insights to support business decisions.
- Drive an effective cash management strategy to ensure a balanced cash flow for the company.
